82 residential units, distributed over two linear apartment buildings and five city villas on a former industrial brownfield site directly on the Rhine – this complex demonstrates how attractive large-scale housing construction can be.
Slightly offset and with plenty of distance between them, the five villas are arranged opposite the linear apartment buildings. Here, the entrance area provides a perfect finishing touch to a vertical glass frontage stretching over the entire height of the building, divided on every floor into fixed and movable window elements.

The entrance doors and the door side elements echo their proportions – integrating the communication system in the door panel to emulate the linear apartment buildings would have disturbed the flow.
This is why the planners decided to opt for a narrow door panel here, into which a flush mounted door station in the Vario design line could be fitted. The frame height of the door station, in any case very low, nestles snugly between the frame elements of the door and side panel.
The letterbox system from the same design line has been supplemented by an inscribed info sign and separate lighting.
At the entrance to both residential rows, letterboxes, door communication and a movement sensor module from the Siedle Vario series are mounted flush into a door side panel painted in the same colour.
